Brad Pitt and Matthew McConaughey Realize They Are Neighbors: I really don’t believe that Brad Pitt and Matthew McConaughey didn’t realize they were neighbors in New Orleans before this moment. I don’t think McConaughey lives there; it seems like he was just there for a party. But it’s still a fun Buzzfeed post of paparazzi photos of two celebrity actors sharing a casual A-list bro moment. Here’s the video:
Brad Pitt seems honestly happy to see McConaughey. And apparently it’s not easy to get that close to Brad Pitt; he’s a very private person. The Esquire Magazine blog has posted a quote from Andrew Domnik, the man who directed Pitt in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, as saying, “I consider Brad a friend. But I don’t go to his house and drink his beers and s***. There’s always a process involved if you want to see Brad.” If you’re in the mood, Esquire has a really good interview and story about Brad Pitt on the site. It’s worth the read just get to get an idea of what life is like as Brad Pitt.
What is heresy?: We modern evangelicals sure love the “h” word — heresy. We throw it around in jest, but there’s plenty of it being thrown around behind closed doors with all seriousness. Rachel Held Evans interviews Justin Holcomb here, and he does a good job of talking about what heresy really is and what heresy isn’t.
